Dopo esserci conosciuti, è arrivato il momento di metterci al lavoro: il primo appuntamento del Club del Cucito Creativo sarà dedicato a una piccola abilità che può sempre tornare utile, imparare ad attaccare un bottone.

Un bottone che si stacca, una camicia da sistemare, un cappotto da rimettere a posto. Quante volte abbiamo rimandato, pensando di non esserne capaci o aspettando che qualcun altro lo facesse per noi?

Durante questo incontro impareremo le basi per attaccare un bottone a mano, conoscere ago e filo e fare pratica con qualche semplice punto. Un piccolo gesto, alla portata di tuttə, per cominciare a rendersi autonomi e prendersi cura dei propri vestiti.

Non serve avere esperienza, né saper già cucire. Partiremo dalle basi, con calma, condividendo dubbi, tentativi e piccoli successi.

Il Club del Cucito Creativo, guidato da Chiara Gentile, fondatrice di C.Lab, nasce proprio così: dalla voglia di imparare insieme, sperimentare e dare nuova vita alle cose che abbiamo già.

E chissà, magari da un bottone attaccato bene nascerà la voglia di imparare a fare molto altro.

I posti sono limitatissimi. La prenotazione è obbligatoria.

After getting to know each other, it’s time to get hands-on: the first meeting of the Creative Sewing Club will be all about learning how to sew on a button.

A button that’s come loose, a shirt that needs fixing, a coat that needs a little attention. How many times have we put it off, thinking we wouldn’t know how to do it or waiting for someone else to take care of it?

During this meetup, we’ll learn the basics of sewing on a button by hand, get familiar with needle and thread, and practise a few simple stitches. A small, practical skill that anyone can learn, helping us become a little more independent and take better care of our clothes.

No experience needed, and you don’t have to know how to sew. We’ll start from scratch, take our time, and share questions, attempts, and little wins along the way.

The Creative Sewing Club, led by Chiara Gentile, founder of C.Lab, is all about learning together, experimenting, and giving new life to the things we already own.

And who knows? Maybe one well-sewn button will spark the desire to learn a whole lot more.

Out of respect for our neighbours, parking is not allowed on the private road in front of the house or in the spaces in front of houses 43 and 43/A on Via Saragat.
